Italian Language Courses
Our experienced faculty all hold university graduates,and are especially qualified to teach Italian language and culture to foreigners. We use dynamic teaching methods to encourage active participation in all aspects of the course.
Several levels of instruction are available in order to develop each student's knowledge of Italian vocabulary, grammar, and syntax. Students are also given incentive to participate in the classroom through the use of role-playing and situational exercises, which stimulate spontaneous and confident linguistic expression. Our goal is to give the students confidence in their ability to understand, speak, read, and write in the Italian language.
Morning classes consist of vocabulary, grammar and syntax, while afternoon classes focus on conversation and culture.
The cultural courses focus on various aspects of Italian culture in order to personalize the curriculum of each student's specific interests.
Courses generally last four weeks, but consecutive participation in more than one course is possible and encouraged. We also offer courses for one, two or three weeks. For special groups, specific dates can be arranged.
General Courses > Italiano Idea Verona
An ideal course for those who are interested either in learning or improving the knowledge of the Italian language and culture. This is assured from the fact that the school has offered such course since its foundation in 1998.
General Courses > Italiano Idea Verona Plus 1
Ideal for those who want to learn Italian also through personalized instruction which permits them among other things to focus on areas of personal interest.
General Courses > Italiano Idea Verona Plus 2
Compared to “Italiano Intensivo Plus 1”, this course provides a greater number of individual lessons so as to optimised the period of study and obtain the very best results.
General Courses > Italiano Base
This is addressed to all those who either aim to improve their knowledge of grammar or have available only a little time to dedicate to the study of language. The course takes place ordinarily in the morning, but for groups consisting of the minimum 3 students of the same level the Direction can decide to organise an afternoon course.
General Courses > Italiano Intensivo
This is addressed to all those who only have at their disposal a little time and want to dedicate only to the study of the Italian language.
General Courses > Italiano Estensivo
Provided for those who live and work in Verona and are unable to attend day classes. These lessons take place in the afternoon or in the evening, according to the needs of the available class levels.
