COURSES AVAILABLE - THE STANDARD COURSES
The classes are made up of a minimum of 4* and a maximum of 12 students, all of whom are at the same level. This level will have been determined by an entry test (see Syllabus). The average number of students per class is 6-8.
Elements included in a standard course: a) daily lessons in Italian language of 60 minutes each, with a minimum of 4 hours a day, b) themed visits of the city of Verona (field trips), one afternoon a week, with an Art History teacher, c) possible optional subjects (conversation, additional individual lessons, cultural courses and laboratories),depending on the course selected.
Frequency: Daily, from Monday through Friday. Standard hours for group courses: from 9.00 a.m. to 1.15 p.m. with a 15 minute break at 11.00 a.m..
Hours a week: From 18 to 34 hours of Italian language lessons, depending on the course and the optional activities selected. Please see the details of each individual course.
Duration: The courses generally last four weeks, but it is possible to take part in a number of consecutive courses or follow a course for just 1, 2 or 3 weeks.
When courses start: All the year round. Please consult the calendar of suggested dates. Absolute beginners are strongly advised to enrol for the dates indicated.

IIV+1 - ITALIANO IDEA VERONA PLUS 1: Group Italian lessons (20 hours) + 1 Cultural subject + Personal Italian lessons (5 hours) + Field trip (2 hours)
IIV+2 - ITALIANO IDEA VERONA PLUS 2: Group Italian lessons (20 hours) + 1 Cultural subject + Private Italian lessons (8 hours) + Field trip (2 hours)
IB - ITALIANO BUONGIORNO: Group Italian lessons (16 hours) + Field trip (2 hours)
IB+1 - ITALIANO BUONGIORNO PLUS 1: Group Italian lessons (16 hours) + Private Italian lessons (5 hours) + Field trip (2 hours)
IB+2 - ITALIANO BUONGIORNO PLUS 2: Group Italian lessons (16 hours) + Private Italian lessons (8 hours) + Field trip (2 hours)
II - ITALIANO INTENSIVO: Group Italian lessons (20 hours) + Field trip (2 hours)
II+1 - ITALIANO INTENSIVO PLUS 1: Group Italian lessons (20 hours) + Private Italian lessons (5 hours) + Field trip (2 hours)
II+2 - ITALIANO INTENSIVO PLUS 2: Group Italian lessons (20 hours) + Private Italian lessons (8 hours) + Field trip (2 hours)
* Note: If groups are smaller than 4 students, the Italian lessons will be reduced, maintaining the same programme. If a student cannot be inserted in any group, he/she will have Italian lessons for 1.5 hours per day.
