SPECIAL COURSES - STUDY & WORK EXPERIENCE
Thanks to the agreement between the Centro Studi Idea Verona and "Verona Innovazione", a special department of the Verona Chamber of Commerce, it is possible to attend "STUDY & STAGE", a course with daily group Italian lessons in the mornings and, in the afternoons, gain - on an individual basis - experience working for a local company or institution.
The 'STUDY & STAGE' programme lasts a minimum of 3 months, during which the student has the opportunity to work in a company or other public or private institution, thus increasing his/her knowledge and experience both as regards the Italian language and the chosen field of work.
This is not a contract of employment in the normal sense of the word, nor will the student be paid for the work done (although the company may, entirely at its discretion, decide to pay at least part of the student’s expenses). Rather, it should be seen as a useful experience from a professional point of wiev.

The principal activities of the small and medium-sized firms operating in the Verona area are in the sectors of production and distribuition of wine and olive oil; the quarrying and processing of marble, tourism, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, commerce, logistics and transport (and many others as well).
Minimum number of students: none. Enrolment is on an individual basis.
Linguistic level: A1 – A2 – B1 – B2 – C1- C2
Minimum age and qualification: from the age of 18 upwards - To be enrolled in, or have graduated form, a university.
Duration of the course: a minimum of 3 months
Duration of each Italian lessons: 60 minutes
Lessons per week: 15 hours of Italian language (if part of a group): 3 hours a day, from 9.30 a.m. to 1.00 p.m., from Monday to Friday (30 minutes break at 11.00 a.m.)
Weekly work experience schedule: afternoons, normally from 2.30 to 6.30, Monday to Friday
Total number of hours of language lessons: 180
Total number of hours of work experience: maximum of 240 (no more than 20 hours per week)
Cost: 1.739,00 Euros, including taxes
Enrolment fee: 150,00 Euros
