Allocation is determined bearing in mind the requirements of the individual student and actual availability. The cost varies according to the length of stay, the period of the year and the characteristics of the accommodation (distance from the school, private bathroom, additional services such as TV, air conditioning, parking, etc.).
The recommended accommodation is fairly close to the school and to the city centre and can nearly always be reached on foot (from 5 to 20/30 minutes’ walk); it is, however, always near a bus route.
The estabilishments and host families are all selected and known personally by the Director of the school Anna Sbampato, who over the course of the years has been able to verify their reliability and the quality of their hospitality.
In order to find accommodation, you should fill in the enrolment form, selecting "I do not have an accommodatio" and giving your preferences, preferibly at least 20 - 30 days before the start of the course.
Once your enrolment form as been received and your deposit has been paid, you will receive details of what is available. After you have confirmed that you are satisfied with our choice, the school will ionform you of the address of the accommodation prior to the start of the course. Normally accommodation is deemed to be booked from Sunday before you start the course until the day after it ends.

STAYING WITH A FAMILY

Students staying with a family have the opportunity to experience everyday life in an Italian household. This is the best way to immerse yourself completely in an Italian-speaking environment and allows you to meet new people. All services are included, with the exception of the telephone. The host families belong to the Associazione OperAverona, an association among whose goals is offering temporary hospitality for non-resident students in Verona.



An example of the furnishings in a single or double room in a university residence: bed, private bathroom and use of a kitchen. Access to the bedrooms is independent, although one reaches them via a communal corridor.
RESIDENCE
The residence offers completely furnished and equipped one-room apartments with kitchenette and bathroom. Bedding, towels and all services are included, with the exception of the telephone.
HOTEL
The Idea Verona Study Centre can also offer accommodation in a hotel - for long or brief periods - to those studying the Italian language, selecting the best option from its list of establishments near the school.
