Your application entitles you to our “student card”, which will give you discounts in bars, restaurants, pizzerias, book shops and a number of selected shops, plus useful gadgets by Idea Verona. Two passport pictures are required to issue your card. Idea Verona’s secretary office is available to help students, providing information about public transportation, train and flight timetables, health and hospitals; it also provides assistance with Italian bureaucracy (to obtain National Insurance, to deal with Telecom and Enel, etc.) and gives suggestions about cultural events both in Verona and other cities. To those students who wish to stay in Verona for a longer period, Idea Verona offers the possibility of “linguistic tandems”. That means that the school can put students in touch with Italian natives, in order to meet and help each other in learning the respective languages, in a completely informal and friendly context.
