Help Idea Verona survive – donations wanted

If in the past you have been a happy student with fond memories of studying at Idea Verona language school in Italy, and it contributed to your life and success, we need to ask you a big favour.
Due to Covid-19 (Corona Virus), in a matter of a few days, all the scheduled courses have been cancelled and current students were forced to return to their countries. Just this morning I accompanied the last student to the airport who was returning to Chicago. We are now in week 2 of having to shut the school, under instructions from local and federal authorities. Just as we get ready for the busy summer season, future course bookings are grim.
Local bars, restaurants, cafes and schools are now closed. Verona is resembling a ghost town.
If it is possible and you’d like to contribute, we are asking you for a donation to allow us to bear the costs of keeping Idea Verona open and overcome this horrible moment and guarantee the minimum livelihood to our wonderful teachers who are the same ones you had. 100% of funds raised will go to our fabulous team, keeping them in jobs.
In return, should you return to Verona in the future, we would love to welcome you back and offer you a service of your choice, either a tour, a dinner, a conversation class at the school, entrance to Arena or an opera ticket.
It doesn’t matter what size of your donation, anything will help us. We’d like to take this opportunity to thank each and everyone of you for your emails, texts and messages of concern and support. While we are all very worried we remain strong and determined for Idea Verona to survive!
